Are you ready for the football season? Football tryouts and interest meetings for the 2026 season are right around the corner! Here is everything you need to know:
Football Interest Meeting
When:
Tomorrow, Tuesday August 25th (during Advisory Period) (WAIT FOR THE ANNOUNCEMENT)
Where:
Cafe D
Who:
Any student interested in trying out for the football team. Management staff are asked to attend the meeting also. Water crew, jersey and equipment mangers.
Tryout Schedule & Breakdown
Tryouts will begin on Wednesday, August 26th and wrap up on Tuesday, September 1st. Please review the grade-by-grade schedule carefully:
Wednesday, Aug. 26th – 6th Grade Tryouts:
Exclusively for 6th graders.
Note:
Students who make the first round of cuts will be notified to return for future practice sessions.
Thursday, Aug. 27th – 7th Grade & Continuing 6th Grade Tryouts:
Open to all 7th graders, as well as 6th graders who made the first cut.
6th Grade Grace Period:
Any 6th grader who was unable to attend Wednesday's tryouts may try out on Thursday due to their newness to the program.
Friday, Aug. 28th – 8th Grade & Continuing Tryouts:
Open to all 8th graders, alongside 6th and 7th graders who progressed through the previous rounds.
Monday, Aug. 31st & Tuesday, Sept. 1st – Final Evaluations:
These final two days will be used to evaluate players and finalize the roster for the 2026 team.
Parent/Guardian & Athlete Meeting
When:
Wednesday, September 2nd | 5:15 PM – 6:00 PM

Cafe D
Who:
Student-athletes who make the final team roster and their parents/guardians.
Details:
We will discuss team expectations for both players and families for the upcoming season, followed by a Q&A session with the coaching staff.
