As you spend family time with your Falcon this weekend, please take a few moments to examine the condition of their school issued laptop. Throughout the last few weeks, we have seen a large increase in the number of laptops that are coming to the help desk with cracked screens, missing keys and other component. Students have been observed punching laptop screens, removing keys as well as trim strips from around the screen. This is unacceptable

As there are no "rental" fees associated with laptops anymore, please note that there are repair and replacement cost that will be applied accordingly. In addition, students intentionally damaging their laptop or that of a peer will result in consequences as outlined in the code of student conduct. 
Lastly, if your Falcon has misplaced their charger, there is a $25 replacement fee in order to receive a new one. If they DID NOT receive a charger in August, please have them visit the help desk.
