Notifications are beginning to go out to students and families verifying their academic standing for the 2023-2024 school year.    Summer school will be offered to students who fail one or two courses in two sessions: session I is June 10-June 27, Mon-Thurs classes, 8:30am-1:30pm and session II is July 1-July 18, Mon-Thurs classes, 8:30am-1:30pm.  Classes will be held at Fairfield Middle School; students can take only one course per session and each course is $180.  If a student fails three or four classes, they are automatically retained for the year.  Don’t let a failed course in school take away from your summer plans!  Let’s work together to help your child succeed and get promoted to their next grade level! For more information about the HCPS Summer School Programs, click here or go to https://www.henricoschools.us/page/summer-academy. Please check with your child’s teachers to confirm their grades or reach out to your child’s grade level school counselor if you have any questions or concerns.
